MSCHF's AC1 "Walking Boot"

Most people would argue that limping around in a cast is not the most fun thing to do. The team behind MSCHF however, incorporated exactly that in their latest viral shoe release. Their new AC1 (short for Air Cast 1) is here:

It essentially features a branded plastic cage, velcro straps and a removable inner neoprene lining. Priced at 450$, this is not your usual go-to solution when you tear your ACL. MSCHF is well known for their controversial and disruptive designs that always feature a tad of social critcism. The AC1 could be seen as a little sideswipe towards today's fashion industry and its followers.
